Research Interests
- Model-Theoretic Topology: mainly applying
model theory (in the sense of mathematical logic) to relational
structures that are naturally associated with compact
Hausdorff spaces. The goal is to investigate the
interplay between descriptive aspects of formal logical
languages and visual aspects of topological objects.
- Betweenness-induced Convexity: the examination of betweenness and
equidistance as abstract ternary relations on a set, as well as
convexity notions that arise therefrom. We are particularly
interested in betweenness and equidistance notions that arise
from topological/metric considerations (e.g., in hyperspace of
normed vector spaces).
