30 April (-ish) (A) We are given a vector field F(x,y,z) = (yz, zx,xy) in space. We have a smooth path C that starts at (2,1,1), follows a humdingy loop around the z-axis, then dramdongles around the y-axis, lobes around the x-axis, and finally ends at (1,4,11). Compute the path integral of F along path C.
(B) We are given a vector field G(x,y,z) = (xyz, cos(y^2) + y*e^x, cos(x+z^2)) in space. We have a closed oriented surface S, the ellipsoid given by equation 3*x^2 + 5*y^2 + 7*z^2 = 11 and pointing outwards. Compute the flux integral of curl(G) over closed surface S.
(C) We are given a vector field H(x,y,z) = (2*x*y, -y^2, sin(x^2-y^2)). We have a closed surface T, the surface of what looks like a giant potato, pointing outwards. Compute the flux integral of H over closed surface T.
