We are all going to work with linux; installation, maintenance, etc.
The first installation meeting was held on 20 September 1997 at 1 PM in CU 412. The following people expressed interest in showing up. Here is a brief description of the event. We learned a little about the installation process.

The next linux day was on Friday 17 October 1997, at 1 PM.We had a reasonably large group of people show up. Here is a brief description of the event. We learned yet again a little more about linux.
The linux meeting of Saturday, 1 November 1997 was a quiet one. Seven people, two faculty and five graduate students, attended. We learned very little about linux.
The last linux day of the Fall semester was on Saturday, 15 November 1997. Here are the usual very brief description and some comments about how little were learned.
