13 September Individual, handwritten. List all primes below 200, and make a sensible interesting conjecture about primes.
20 September Individual, handwritten. Suppose you have 14 coins and a balance. The 14th coin is marked as good. Among the remaining 13 coins is one bad coin, which is of a different weight. Show how to use 3 weighings with the balance to find the bad coin, as well as find whether it is heavier or lighter.
8 October Individual, handmade. Create a HEX gameboard on an 8.5 by 11 sheet. The fields must be large enough so that pennies can be used as game pieces. The board must have at least 8 by 8 fields. Quality and artistry are valued.
3 November Individual, handmade. Build copies of the five platonic solids. There may be bonuses for interesting additional constructions.
