Word problems
Experience suggests that many students who consider themselves mathematically
incompetent, really are only "language challenged."
To combat this, we spend some time on word problems.
- The captain of the ship is twice as old as the ship was, when the ship
was as old as the captain is now.
Together they are 56 years old.

- Besides the problem above, we discuss some of the puzzles in the book.
- There are several starting points to find good games (as well as
bad ones, unfortunately).
