Putnam what?
- This class prepares undergraduate students for the W.L. Putnam
Mathematical Competition, held on the first Saturday of December (our team
usually holds this in CU).
- This class is open to ALL Marquette University undergraduates.
We allow others to attend on a case by case basis.
This class is recommended to all who love real proofs.
- Official registration for MATH 3977 is not required if you don't want
the one credit that you may earn.
Even if you don't register, you can still contact me to register for just the
official Putnam Exam.
We had a first organizational meeting on September
16th.
Decisions made:
- Regular meeting times:
Fridays 11 - 11:50, or 12 - 12:50, or 1 - 1:50 (you pick your hour).
Because of the Inauguration on September 23rd, the Putnam class starts on
September 30th.
- Regular meeting place:
New location: Cudahy Hall 327.
