We have meetings (some may arrive a bit later because
of classes) on
Fridays starting at 3:30 PM in Cudahy Hall 301, the
HELP DESK partition.
About this class:
- We learn to solve mathematical puzzles, using proofs.
- This class also prepares undergraduate students for the
W.L. Putnam Mathematical Competition,
held on the first Saturday of December all across North America.
- National Putnam registration takes place later in the semester.
Levels of participation and registration:
- Voluntary class attendance is free and open to ALL MU
undergraduates.
Putnam Competition registration is encouraged.
- Additional registration for MATH 3977 one credit
must be completed by the common registration deadline on Tuesday 1 September.
Regular class attendance is required.

- Putnam Competition registration
is always recommended, but only required for those registered for MATH 3977.
