We have an organizational meeting (some may arrive a bit
later because of classes) on
Friday 5 September starting at 3:30 PM in the Cudahy
Hall atrium, 3rd floor.
About this class:
- We learn to solve mathematical puzzles, using proofs.
- This class also prepares undergraduate students for the
W.L. Putnam Mathematical Competition,
held on the first Saturday of December all across North America.
Levels of participation and registration:
- Class attendance is free and open to ALL MU
undergraduates.
Putnam Competition registration is encouraged.
- Voluntary registration for MATH 3977 one credit must be
completed by the common deadline on Tuesday 2 September.
Regular class attendance is required.

- come to the MSSC office at Cudahy Hall CU 340 and ask, or

- Putnam Competition registration
is required for those registered for MATH 3977.
